What is Eco.Drive technology and how does it work?
It’s a mini power system that captures and accumulates light, giving the watch many months of autonomy. No more battery changes, therefore, with undoubted advantages. The dials of Eco-Drive watches are designed to let light through. The light energy is captured by a small photovoltaic panel of sufficient power to ensure a lasting power reserve.
On the market are models for men and women (EcoLady), chrono, with perpetual calendar and moon phases, several radio-controlled models attached to the atomic clock in Frankfurt, and even a line (Aqualand) with more sophisticated technical solutions dedicated to diving enthusiasts.
